Youtube Gamer Interview #8 - OptimumSmiley

It's once again the time of the week to find out what one of the YouTube Gamers think!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today we are talking to a teenage gamer who has been in the video making business for years! I'll let him tell you in more detail! Today's interview is with OptimumSmiley!

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
My name is George and my Youtube channel is OptimumSmiley. I'm 16 years old and have been doing youtube for over 3 years but I still really enjoy producing content.  I don't really have a lot of passions in life but I do have one passion Video Games. I enjoy the amazing experiences they can present to someone from the comfort of their own home.
What do you do on your channel?
On my channel I mainly produce funny moments and rage videos from games such as Overwatch, halo, for honor and many more! But recently I have been producing more rant type videos and comedic videos due to the fact I really enjoy doing them. They do take a lot longer to edit but when I feel passionate about something I stick to it.

What is your favorite game that you've ever played?
My favourite game is probably the witcher 2 or 3 there really great games and have so much content to them, my youtube avatar is actually based the main character of that series (Geralt of Rivia). However I do also enjoy the Halo games and of course the elder scrolls series.

What made you start making YouTube videos?
Literally the day I discovered youtube I decided to produce videos (I've had many failed channels). The channels was the yogscast I saw just how much fun they had and really wanted that feeling, honestly I had no idea at the time that they were famous or that Internet fame was even a thing I just wanted to be able to do what they do.

What do you think is the best video you've ever made?
I would say it's probably this one

Who are your favourite youtubers or twitch streamers to watch?
I still enjoy the yogscast from time to time, but I also enjoy watching channels such as idubbbz, h3h3productions, nigahiga, miniminter, vikkstar123 and honestly many more but overall probably idubbbz.

And finally, what tips would you give to anyone who wanted to start a youtube channel?
Honestly I would recommend recording in HD, using video tags effectively , making good quality thumbnails, interacting with viewers, make sure your doing something you love and don't give up it gets better.

Thank you very much OptimumSmiley! I loved hearing what you thought!

Youtube Gamer Interview #7 - Itz Chris Gaming

Once again it's time for another insight into the world of a YouTube Gamer!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today we are interviewing a sporty teenager who loved to play racing games! Enough with the spoilers though! Let's get straight to our interview with Itz Chris Gaming!

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
I am just a teenager in high school that likes to play games. I also enjoy sports including football and baseball. I really like playing with friends on xbox and talking to my fans.

What made you start making youtube videos?
Well like I said my favorite game is Forza. I really enjoyed Forza and I wanted to make videos about it. Ever since I was 10 I wanted to make youtube videos, but I just now have had the chance to make videos.

What do you think is the best video you've ever made?
Well to be honest I like all my videos. But the video I like the most is in fact, my channel trailer. I liked that video because I can explain to anyone in less than a minute about what my channel is about. I had fun making it too.

Who are your favorite youtubers or twitch streamers to watch?
I really like to watch ar12 nick, Gingium and jackultragamer. They all do Forza and have a fun personality. I found this guy named Garrett Messnar and I was watching his stream and it turned out we live in the same area. Creepy huh.

What is your favorite game that you've ever played?
Well I am the kind of person that usually plays a lot of games. But ever since I discovered Forza Horizon 3 I have been hooked. I started a youtube channel so I could play Forza and feel like I'm playing for a reason and to spread the joy to other people.

And finally, what tips would you give to anyone who wanted to start a youtube channel?
Well I really don't qualify to give tips since I am just about to hit 100 subs. But if I had to give tips it is really just to find a game , upload at least 3 times and week and be patient.

Well that's it for this week! Thank you Chris, it was exciting to hear what you have to say!

Youtube Gamer Interview #6 - Commander Skull

It's that time again where we are interviewing another Youtube Gamer!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today we've got a Bulgarian food lover and graphic designer, who wants to make everyone's day just that little bit better. But enough from me, let's get to our interview with Commander Skull!

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
My name is Skull but people know me as Commander skull. I am a Bulgarian YouTuber, graphic designer and a content creator. I enjoy making content and playing games. My favorite colors are green and black and my favorite foods are french fries and pizza.

What do you do on your channel?
On my channel I do Vlog's, Gameplay videos, sketches and in general everything that I think is a good topic to talk about or give people a good laugh and brighten up their day.

What made you start making videos?
It was several things. I wanted to make people laugh or help them or in general make content that they enjoy. I am sure we have all been there - you get back home after a S@%# day and you turn a video on from a youtuber and it brightens up your day and you get inspired that things are not that bad. I also wanted try try out new things and got some encouragement from a few friends at the time.

What do you think is the best video you've made?
I would have to say the video "That moment when you pass your exam"
It has a special place in my heart due to it being my first Sketch video and so far what I think my most successful one.

Who are your favourite Youtubers or Twitch streamers to watch?
Depends. I watch a lot of youtubers. I would say my favorites are - LifeOfBoris(He inspired me that Slav channels can flourish); ArchWarhammer; Bruva Alfabusa; AngryJoeShow; Nixxiom; boogie2988

What's your favourite game that you've played?
Kind of a hard question... I have done gaming since 1999 when I was a small kid and got my first PC. I would have to say Starcraft 1 and 2 go to the first place and on second Roblox. Those are my main go to games that I enjoy the most.

And finally, What tips would you give to anyone wanting to start a youtube gaming channel?
Be persistent you will get your 5 minutes under the spotlight and get your chance to shine it may not be immediately but it will eventually happen.
Be creative, as hard as it may sound and don't forget to be yourself.
And my final world of advise is to try to challenge yourself to create better videos every time and don't be afraid to experiment.

Thank you Captain Skull for those excellent answers!

If you want to see more of his videos, you can check out his Youtube Channel HERE, and if you want to check out his Twitter page, you can find that HERE!

Youtube Gamer Interview #5 - Franzy

It's time for another Youtube Gamer Interview!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today we've got a sporty gamer who loves animals! He's had experience with a few different types of youtube channels, and has now settled on gaming! Let's get straight into our interview with Franzy22!

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
I'm a 17 year old gamer and is very busy out of YouTube too. I play football for my varsity team in high school and that takes up most of my time.

What do you do on your channel?
When my channel first came out I was a guinea pig channel and then my guinea pig died due to a very bad disease the doctors couldn't figure out and I was very sad I got a New Guinea pig but it's just not the Same. Then I was very interested it fire belly toads and reptiles I lives that and still do but there is just a point in time when I don't have the money to get more reptiles that channel isn't that interesting so I stopped that. Then I started gaming and I already loved gaming I just need to record. I want to be and H2O delirious of the world who is funny and entertaining. He has the best series videos I think and I want to be like him because I like games with stories but my Channel doesn't believe that.

What do you think is the best video you've made?
I believe my 300 sub video is the best because it the funniest and would be the best to bring people in my channel. My goal for 2017 is to hit 1000 subs I will be working hard to get that goal.

What made you start making videos?
I want to get big on YouTube because I want to change people's love and I want to be a funny kid and also be inspirational when I get big I want to start a new channel and turn it into a vlogger. The reason I wait till I get bigger is because my life right now is boring because I don't have the money from YouTube to get stuff that will be entertaining but I hope someday.

What's your favourite game that you've played?
My favorite game is gmod but I also like survival games and games with stories so I want to start that soon I hope.

And finally, What tips would you give to anyone wanting to start a youtube gaming channel?
When I get bigger I might start a super shout out series for smaller gamers to help them start out because that is the hardest thing. I want some active subscribers that will help my Channel grow and watch my whole video and comment. I am always looking for gamers who I can collab with so we both can grow. I am currently liking for A gaming group like the vanoss but that will happen there is always hope tho. I am apart of First order entertainment Channel on YouTube but they aren't really grow I hope someday they get big and we can help each other start out.

Thank you Franzy for those answers, and I hope you manage to get you vlogging channel up in the near future!
If you want to see more of Franzy, you can find his Youtube Channel HERE, or you could check out his Twitter HERE!

That's it for another week of interviews. To make sure you don't miss the next one be sure to follow!

Youtube Gamer Interview #4 - VCR Clan

It's interview time once again!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today's guest is feline's best friend, and a Youtube veteran. He's been making people smile and laugh for over 2 years! But let's get straight to it. Our interviewee today is VCR Clan!

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
I am a gamer who has been doing youtube for over 2 years now. I love to make people smile and I LOVE CATS!

What do you do on your channel?
My channel is based around gaming videos, try not to laugh videos, and just dumb challenge videos. Though I mostly check my comments on what my next video should be. I livestream games and random things almost every week.

What made you start making videos?
Many things helped me start my YouTube channel. When I was watching my videos I saw all of these clans in agario that would always take over. This really annoyed me. That's when I asked my parents if I could create a channel and they said yes. I was static and I decided to name the channel VCR Clan. Me and my friends would go around the servers with vcr before our names, and try to take them over.

What do you think is the best video you've made?
I think that the best video I have ever made was  HOW TO GET A FREE IPAD WITH A OLD PHONE WORKING 2017 I think that this was my favorite video because it was sooo much fun to make and edit. I mean who doesn't want to watch a video that includes phones, kittens, and more!

Who are your favourite Youtubers or Twitch streamers to watch?
My favorite youtubers that I love to watch stream would probably be TheAverageGuy. He is a much smaller youtuber but he has great personalities. He streams almost every night and streams cod.

What's your favourite game that you've played?
My favorite game that I have ever played was the game agar.io. although I do not play it anymore that was the game that inspired me to make my YouTube chanel. It is a game were you are blob, you get bigger, and you try to eat other blobs that are smaller then yours. But yes I would say agar.io is my favorite game

And finally, What tips would you give to anyone wanting to start a youtube gaming channel?
When it comes to youtube it won't come easy I'll tell you that. When I started my channel I thought I would be able to have 1000 by the first month. That did not happen. I had 15 at the end. At this point I thought about stopping... I will not I told myself. So I kept making videos and I saw my channel slowly grow! 100. 200. 300. 400. 500. And now I am at 807. If you are thinking about starting a channel all I can tell you is to never stop even in the hardest times because at one point you will reach your goal.

Thank you so much for those tips VCR Clan! If you want to see more of his great videos, you can find his Youtube Channel HERE and if you want to check out his Instagram, you can find that HERE!

Keep and eye out for our next interview!
See you next time!

Will Gen 2 help save Pokémon Go?

Finally, Niantic have released the second wave of Pokémon into the world of Pokémon Go.

The update was announced exactly one week ago today, and went live a few days later. More than 80 Pokémon were added to the game. This takes the total to 251 if we include the (as of right now) uncatchable legendaries, or 238 if we only count Pokémon you can actually catch.

There were a lot more features added as well. If you want to see the full patch notes, CLICK HERE
The anticipation for this game has been building for months, and many players have been waiting for this update for a while. But will this update help Pokémon Go in the long run?
Yes, the update has brought back a lot of player who had left, but my guess is they won't stay for long.

I've been playing this game since before it came out in the UK and I love the whole concept of it. However, the players that quit, tend to have one of two reasons for quitting. The first being that they completed the pokédex and saw no point in continuing to play. The second being that they didn't enjoy the collecting aspect of the game and wanted more multiplayer features. Now those players who quit because they'd completed the Kanto 'dex will likely return to fill up their Johto 'dex. However, those players who are asking for a more interactive game, and more multiplayer features... Well this update doesn't add anything for them.

Let's transport ourselves a few months into the future. Generation 2 has now been out on Pokémon Go for a while, and many people have spent a lot of time collecting all the new Pokémon. Now what happens? Well my guess is that we'll see another wave of people leaving. The returning players will vanish, having completed their Pokédex once again. Yet this time, they'll be joined by the players who dislike the Gym battling system. If you're not into defeating gyms, and have caught all the Pokémon, then what else is there to do in this game? The answer is "not a lot". With gyms being filled with CP3000+ Pokémon, the newer players have no chance of earning their free coins. And depending on your location, one team might have a stronghold on the gyms, so even if you take it down you won't hold it for long.

All gyms near me are controlled by high level mystic players.
So what can Niantic do to stop these players from leaving and ensuring their game continues to thrive? The answer to that is actually quite simple; add more features to the game. If there was more to the game than filling your pokédex and controlling gyms then there would be more for players who have completed their 'dex to do. There are loads of things that they could add that would achieve this. Some of the most popular suggestions are trading and PvP battles. A couple of my favourite suggestions are to add daily quests and NPCs. These extra features would give more depth to the game and add hours of game-play which would entice the players who dislike the gym system.
What Niantic are doing to keep players interested is hosting lots of in-game events to keep the game fresh.

The Valentine's and New Year's events got a lot of people excited about the increased spawns of rare Pokémon!

Already this year Niantic have given us two events. First, the New Year's event, where there were increased spawns of the starter Pokémon. The, the Valentine's event, where there was double candy and increased spawn of pink Pokémon. Clearly Niantic are trying to increase playerbase while keeping the players they already have. But unless they add some big features in the near future, I can see the game slowly dying out. I don't think the game will ever completely die. It is, at the moment, one of the only games of its kind, which will help it a lot, and there will always be Pokémon fans playing. But until they add some extra features. it will never be as popular as it was upon release.

Youtube Gamer Interview #3 - J0eyy

We're back again with yet another Youtube Gamer Interview!

Don't forget, if YOU want to be interviewed about your Youtube channel all you need to do is email me at panaramanwa.gaming@gmail.com with the subject title "Youtube Gamer interview request". Anyway enough with that, on with today's interviewee!

Today we are interviewing a young, up and coming youtuber, who plays a variety of different games, and makes hilarious commentary over the top! No more spoilers from me, let's hear it from the man himself - J0eyy

Who are you? Tell me about yourself.
Hey my name's Joey but people call me J0eyy in-game and on Youtube. I am a younger youtuber, but still have a thriving personality and a good sense of humor. (Little Fact, I Had Heart Surgery when I was 8 I am 14 now).

What do you do on your channel?
On my channel I post awesome and funny gaming content, from horror games to funny little indie games.

What made you start making videos?
There are many things that made me start making videos, but the main reason was to have content people will enjoy, just support in the comments and from my friends in real life push me to do youtube.

What do you think is the best video you've made?
My best video at the moment would probably be my most recent video which is actually my first Sword with Sauce gameplay. Since that video I have and will be putting more effort towards editing and other aspects of the video.

Who are your favourite Youtubers or Twitch streamers to watch?
My favorite youtubers are ones you would kind of expect, Jacksepticeye, Mini Ladd and Scarce are just a few (Fun Fact: I watch Scarce every morning he makes a video while I'm eating breakfast.)

What's your favourite game that you've played?
I have had many favorite games throughout my life, but one of my main ones has to be Sword with Sauce, even though it has just came out, it will be a game I will definitely be playing for a while.

And finally, What tips would you give to anyone wanting to start a youtube gaming channel?
I have TWO main tips to anyone starting out such as myself, BE CONSISTENT! and TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR VIDEOS! Those are my main tips, don't get caught up in subscribers and views unless you make good, quality content. That's all I have to say ;) -J0eyy

Excellent! Thank you so much for that J0eyy! If you want to check out more of J0eyy's videos you can find his Youtube channel HERE and his Twitter HERE!

If you've got any comments for me or for J0eyy don't forget to leave them in the comments section!

That's it for today, catch you all next time!
